Only one word of caution: start small (one capsule or 1/4 teaspoon) if you are not used to spicy foods and increase the dosage gradually to allow your body to get used to it (up to 1 teaspoon in water). Even if you only take capsules, with time you will find - as I did - that you are gradually more and more able to take the heat of spicy foods as your digestive system adapts to cayenne pepper.

Good guess... Actually paprika is the same herb as cayenne but milder, so it does share some of the benefits of cayenne.
